HOMEWORK Homework is regularly assigned. It will be collected at the beginning of the next class day. Hand in your assignments upon coming in to class. Late homework assignments will be accepted, but they will be marked down. Homework assignments due when class begins will not be accepted past the first five minutes of the period. If a student forgets to put his or her homework in the tray as he or she comes into class (if due that day), he or she may hand it in later, but it will be marked as late. Students are to put assignments in the Assignment Tray right when they come into class. Do not wait for a prompt. Students who earn a Homework Pass by following class directions or doing extra credit work will be able to skip one homework assignment per Homework Pass. These will be distributed with homework or you may find one on your desk. Simply turn in the Homework Pass stapled to a piece of paper with your name, date, and assignment name. Sample Heading: HOMEWORK DATE: 10/7/2006 NAME OF TEACHER (student name) ALBERT EDISON "HOMEWORK TITLE" PERIOD #____ (your class period.) Papers without heading or missing names may not be marked on your grade sheet because the teacher will not know where to put it. Check the papers with no headings folder if you are missing a paper or a paper grade.
